In this blog of Mitch and Sarah's Wedding, I would like to share some of the details that I capture on the day.
I totally enjoy capturing the details of the day as they will be the things that bring memories to the couple when the see the photos again after their wedding.
I concentrate a lot on the dress, flowers, rings and anything else that the bride/groom may have requested specifically for the day. I usually capture these details during the preparation or also known as pre ceremony.
Mitch and his groomsmen had their preparation at the Mantra on Frome. This place is awesome, it provides a clean and modern backdrop. The boys then walked to the Belgian Beer Cafe to have a drink. It was my first time with a bridal party in the cafe and I was impressed as it looks really cool with the lights, red pillars and wooden furniture. It totally compliments our Signature Masterpiece edit.
For Sarah's and her bridesmaid's preparation or getting ready photos, I concentrate on her gorgeous wedding dress and jewelleries.
Their wedding was held at the historical Ayers House. We are proud to be one of the preferred Adelaide Wedding Photographers there at Ayers House. I just love those massive golden coloured curtains with the amazing design on the ceiling.
At the ceremony, I capture tears of joy and happiness. I capture facial expressions of the bride when groom is saying his vows and vice versa. These moments are just precious.
Being in the city itself, there are lots of photo opportunities, including the University of Adelaide campus, The Parliament House and also the Old Police Barracks.
At the reception, I capture laughter and fun, and if time permits, I do try night portrait. If you are interested in night portrait, stay tune on our blogs as we will be posting some wedding with night portraits.
